My Book is Growing by Leaps and Bounds!

I’m now 15,000 over my minimum. I can’t stop writing! And writing. And writing. But that’s a great thing, isn’t it?

It’s nearly to the end. I mentioned that 15,000 words ago. So apparently, it wasn’t. 🙂

I’ve been hitting this hard for days, the scenes just coming, the characters talking to each other no matter what I’m doing–taking the puppies out for a potty break, fixing meals, wait! Hold on! Keep that thought…or scene, the dialogue! Wait until I’m back at my keyboard!

I wanted to start Cougar Trouble after this, but I’m going to have to jump on the next wolf book. Have to keep moving, don’t look back, only look forward.

I think they say they are inconspicuous, but it looked like millions of new leaves were sprouting, so I took a closer look, and they’re tiny flowers.

Odd angle, but I was trying to show my friend that it doesn’t have an exposed rhizome like the bearded irises do. What I liked about it is that it’s unusual and eye catching even when not bearing flowers. 🙂

Okay, that’s enough chitchat! Hope you have a super great day!

You know what I’m back to! The NEVER Ending Story. 🙂 Golden Fae.

  1. Wow Terry you are one busy lady. Cougars, Wolf’s, Fae’s. Is it hard to keep things straight when everything is hitting you all at once. Glad you do take breaks like gardening, sewing, doggie walks. But I can imagine you gardening and still plotting scenes. Your photos are lovely and a good hobby for you. You are so dedicated to everything you do and it shows. I love reading your posts and looking at your nature photos. And do want to read more of your books. And your choice of covers are awesome. Dedicated fan. Did you take those pictures in Hawaii. Lovely

    • Thanks so much, Lynn! I wish I had been in Hawaii to take those pictures. lol!!! 🙂 <3 Yeah, it's important to take the time to enjoy life all around me and realize there is a life beyond my book characters. lol 🙂 But they're so much fun! 🙂 I keep getting asked about my other book series. I wish I hadn't had to stop writing to move for 3 whole months where I just couldn't write with all the getting ready to move and moving. But I wanted to do it, and I just have to move forward and keep writing now! 🙂

  2. I know about the moving. Since we have been married we have moved 5 times including our move next week. This is the place we have wanted to be in. Took 2 years to get there. Waiting list. I am totally exhausted. But keep up the good work on your books and good you do other things to stop and smell the roses as they say. Hubby says if your book is really thick. Separate it and make 2 books out of it if possible. You have me intrigued on this one. will look for it when published.

    • oh, good luck, missy, on the move!!! Took me forever to find everything!! 🙂 I had to do that with Hawk Fae. It was already a full length book and so I wrote Phantom Fae to follow up. 🙂 It was fun doing it that way. Each YA has a couple’s story in it and they find resolution, but there was a continuing one from Dragon Fae through Phantom Fae. 🙂
