My Book is Growing by Leaps and Bounds!

I’m now 15,000 over my minimum. I can’t stop writing! And writing. And writing. But that’s a great thing, isn’t it?

It’s nearly to the end. I mentioned that 15,000 words ago. So apparently, it wasn’t. 🙂

I’ve been hitting this hard for days, the scenes just coming, the characters talking to each other no matter what I’m doing–taking the puppies out for a potty break, fixing meals, wait! Hold on! Keep that thought…or scene, the dialogue! Wait until I’m back at my keyboard!

I wanted to start Cougar Trouble after this, but I’m going to have to jump on the next wolf book. Have to keep moving, don’t look back, only look forward.

But I do stop to take a picture or two or three while I’m at it. These are tall narrow boxwood and they have flowers! I think they say they are inconspicuous, but it looked like millions of new leaves were sprouting, so I took a closer look, and they’re tiny flowers.

No matter how busy you are, do you ever stop to see how life is getting on without you?

And I picked up a butterfly Iris variegated plant. Odd angle, but I was trying to show my friend that it doesn’t have an exposed rhizome like the bearded irises do. What I liked about it is that it’s unusual and eye catching even when not bearing flowers. 🙂
