This is a reserve in Omaha, Nebraska, that besides having a compound for wolves, and bears, and a range for buffalo to roam, they have a special place for eagles that have been injured. Once they recover from their injuries, they are returned to the wild. If you think wolves shed…
You don’t usually see them sitting on the ground. But aren’t they beautiful?
So I wanted to share them here. I’m excited to be going back there in a couple of months.
I had to get this shot because it shows a stream in their habitat. I love water. 🙂
These two almost look like a mirror reflection of each other! But there are actually two of them.
Aren’t they beautiful?

Thanks, Lorie!! 🙂
Great pics Terry. We had to have a section of a beach area blocked off when I was in high school. It had a big nest built on top of an old pole with old wires that hadn’t been in use for along time. It was an eagle nest. We often would go as far as we were allowed to try to see but were never lucky enough. They are beautiful birds.
How fascinating, Pam! It’s wonderful how they took of them so no one would disturb them!
