RPG!

Okay, yes, I love Role Playing Games. I’m working on Divinity Original Sin and am like so many others who are annoyed that after building up my characters, I have a no-win scenario with immortal knights. So what is the purpose of equipment, spells, and training if I have to try and sneak past these guys???? When I’m not a rogue and sneaking isn’t part of my whole persona?

But I’m actually talking about a group who role plays my cougar series on Facebook!

And so they’re having a fun fall day festival and I made a couple of pictures for them.

Now it’s time to get back to work. 🙂 Billionaire Wolf Christmas beckons. I reached word count, so now just need to finish the story!

And it’s cool this morning, just like a real fall day!

Monarch Butterfly Caterpillars!

The monarch butterflies only feed off milkweed, so I’m struggling to get rid of the aphids and milkweed bugs that are trying to destroy the milkweed plants. And I found two little tiny, itty bitty monarch butterfly caterpillars. You can see how tiny they are with the one on the tiny flower bud.

Grandbaby sitting, so we had a morning walk (it was cooler out!) and she’s down for a nap (momentarily). So off to work on a snow globe Christmas card for one of my fans.  I needed to make a larger version. Note to self: Make two versions when working on photoshop. The BIG one, and the reduced size for the internet.

Vistaprint makes really nice cards, business cards, and they have their annual 50% off right now, so trying to get this done so I can get them printed off for Christmas!

Have a fabulous day! I have baby monarch caterpillars! They losing their habitat so quickly that they are dwindling in numbers every year. So I want to do my little, little, little part to help them.

Halloween Bears and a Christmas Wolf

My life is a mixed-up season.

I have resorted to listening to Carol of the Bells, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and other instrumental music to get into the Christmas spirit for writing Billionaire Wolf Christmas. When I showed this off yesterday on FB, I realized how much I needed to listen to Christmas music to feel the mood. It doesn’t help when it’s 90+ degrees out. 🙂

Birds in the Garden

Cowbird to dove: I was here first, do your worst.

Male house finch with sunflower seed and ready to go.

I saw a Baltimore Oriole the other day. I love them, but he was in one of my neighbor’s trees and wouldn’t come to me. 🙁

The one was at the writer’s retreat, the other on my bird feeder. 🙂

Only 5,000 words to write, for word count. But I still have a long way to go to finish the story, then edit it. Still, from 0 to 75,000, not bad. 🙂

I missed doing my blog yesterday. Between internet trouble in the morning and then taking care of grandbaby, I never had time. I did spend a few hours trying to complete a 40 question interview though, which I did finish.

Hey, if you ask me which I like better, one thing or another, I have to give more of an explanation. I’m a writer. 🙂

Fall Wild Flowers–St. Croix

Purple and yellow fall flowers in St. Croix. I love fall when the flowers are still blooming and the fall colors are riotous. Maybe not so much here, but in other places!

And baby yesterday. Watch out for those two sharp little baby teeth, her first ones. Whenever she starts pulling my fingers toward her mouth in her strong little fists, I feel like she’s a vampire. 🙂 <3 I laugh and pull my fingers away!  Others have not been so lucky!
