Many of the pictures featured in the video are my creations, including several of the book covers for Halloween stories. It’s going to be a hectic day! 40 degrees and raining! I need to get Max into the doctor for his teeth cleaning and then go to my granddaughter’s storybook parade at the school, but I’m not sure what they’re going to do because it’s supposed to rain. It’s always held outside.
Okay, I’m off to get ready to go to the vets!

They’re fading a bit here. I meant to take a photo when they were really bright red, but it was too sunny and the picture wouldn’t have turned out.
So my son-in-law and grandson and their corgis will be leaving soon after my daughter and granddaughter had a GS slumber party. Fun was had by all!
I’m trying to decide if I should pick my bell peppers or not. The temp is dropping to 34 on Wednesday. All my tomato plants are producing like crazy too.
Okay, off to play with my grandson some more.

The orange marigolds are back in beautiful form! Perfect color for a fall look. It’s so nice to see the color again when before they looked like they needed to be pulled out and tossed. The great thing is they reseed themselves so I have marigolds in bloom at least a couple of times a year–spring and fall, summer too before it gets too hot.
Off to work. Hope to get word count today for Wolf on the Prowl!

We’re not getting it, but I’m hopeful for us to cool down soon. It was 75 at 6 am this morning. It’s going to get to only 82 because we are supposed to have thunderstorms. So we shall see. We can use the cool down. And we can use the rain.
I’m at 76K on Wolf on the Prowl, 4K to go on minimum word count. Aren’t I there already???? Getting there!

Creating artwork for my morning blog makes me happy. But also getting my word count in for my current deadline book does. I managed 2,000 words on my off day, so only 4,000 words behind. I’m up to 72K, need 8K more for word count. Woohoo!!!

It looks like we’ll have a cool night for Halloween. Believe me, it’s usually hot! So that should be nice for a change!
Have a wonderful Sunday. I’m not sleeping well because I keep thinking of Wolf on the Prowl story ideas. When I get closer to the end, sometimes that happens. I’ll keep running scenarios through my mind. Then if I’m smart, I’ll write the scenes I come with down or….I’ll keep thinking about them for hours.

Margot Anderson goes with her girlfriend to White Bear, Alaska, from their home in North, Alaska, to enjoy all the Halloween activities the town has to offer. What she doesn’t expect is to get a rescue from a seaplane pilot who happens to be from White Bear and a polar bear just like them.
Craig MacMathan had a delivery to make when his cousin sees a vision of a couple of polar bears needing Craig’s help. Not only are the ladies single, but they’re coming to his town to have fun. And he’s more than ready to help them have a great time.
But Margot is having nightmares related to something that has to do with White Bear, her mother doesn’t want her to go there, and they have a mystery to solve as Craig gets deeper into his relationship with Margot. Until she solves it, she doesn’t want to drag another bear into her world of nightmares, but Craig isn’t just any other bear.
I loved reading mysteries when I was growing up, the paranormal too, so this is a mystery/Halloween/bear shifter adventure!
It’s the third White Bear book in the series and I introduced a lot of new shifters to the story.
Okay, I’m diligently working on Wolf on the Prowl, wrote 3,000 words on it yesterday after a fun day with my granddaughter. And voila, I see some fall colors on a crepe myrtle! When did that happen? We don’t usually have much in the line of fall colors here.
