Off to the pool with my granddaughter since that’s the best thing to do in this heat. The pool will be closing soon with the lifeguards all going back to school.
So in my red wolf Christmas story coming up, they’re back to a search for Bigfoot. Which is the reason I created this picture. I’m nearly finished with Big Cat Magic. It’s up to 46K and all that I need to figure out is Rosalie’s birthday present. Oh, I figured it out in the middle of the night. I need to add it! Then I’ll be proofing the rest of the day!
I’m too hot. So I needed to create a picture that helps cool things down. I don’t think the Snow Queen is very happy that the Blue Fairy showed up in her territory. She’s getting a rather icy reception, don’t you think?
I worked and worked on Big Cat Magic yesterday, and managed to reach 44,000, nearly 45,000. So hope to finish it this weekend. I’ve been having a lot of requests for the 2nd book in the Fortune Teller series, so after I write Roxie’s story, I’ll finish up the 2nd book in the Fortune Teller Series. Sascha the Sensation.
With writing books, I’m always looking ahead. Big Cat Magic is a Halloween story. I just finished writing the Highland Wolf Christmas story. Not sure on Roxie’s story, but it will be set during some season next year. So it helps me to get in the mood by creating arts that evoke more of that time frame. Besides, I want to enjoy seeing something other than heat and more heat!
I was watching a story where they were having a terrifically wild thunderstorm, and enjoying it, while checking on our own weather report where it said we might get some storms. I captured pictures of the huge thunderheads, heard the thunder, but alas, NO RAIN.
I managed to get about 160 more pages proofed on Highland Wolf. I have about 90 left to proof. Little one is here, so I might not get much done today, but hope to get the rest done on Tuesday. Then it’s back to Big Cat Magic and trying to finish that up.
So I made this from 3 photos I had taken with my camera, and the one my son took of he and his friend on his cell phone.
It’s been hot, hot, hot, and I cut down some of the plants that are overwhelming the back fence.
We had a pretty good chance of rain and then it didn’t happen. Which is typical. Not so great a chance today, which means none.
I’m proofing Highland Wolf so I can turn it in. I hope to be halfway done today. Yay! Once I’m done and turn it in, I’ll be working on Big Cat Magic. Hope to finish it up and then get started on Roxie’s story.
Created with Daz3D. I’d say he was having a whale of a day!
I’m off with my daughter to have our IKEA day. We only do it once in the summer since she works long hours Mon-Thurs and has Friday off, but she’s been so sick, we haven’t been able to go. So today is the day!
I took the picture of the background and tin man and scarecrow, pumpkins at the Dallas, Texas arboretum, so not exactly in Kansas any more. The munchkins and Dorothy are Daz3D creations.
Okay I’m off to another hectic day. Took my walk, swimming laps and then getting ready to help my SIL take their other car in, but it’s going to be a much longer drive, and then they’ll pick it up this evening, but I’ll have to get both kids and the 15 month old is running now, so he’s into everything. Plus, I have to take my granddaughter to dance class tonight, and I imagine I’ll be chasing down the toddler for an hour. Oh well, more exercise for me. lol
I’m up to 36K on Big Cat Magic, getting closer to the end and I have another day of edits on Highland Wolf and then have to start proofing it. But it will be hard since I’ve got my granddaughter all day tomorrow also. The weekend is mine to work! Finally!
