On the Way to the Emerald City…

You never know what those poppies are going to do to you. The lion, tin man, and the sunset background are my photos.

So my daughter has been really sick, SIL got over his, both grandkids have been sick and Grandma has been fine. Until last night. The start of a sore throat. ugh. No Covid, but sinus issues, etc.

I’m off to spend the day with my granddaughter. This weekend I planned to work, but I might be wiped out with whatever they’ve all had. Sigh.

I took the picture of the background and tin man and scarecrow, pumpkins at the Dallas, Texas arboretum, so not exactly in Kansas any more. The munchkins and Dorothy are Daz3D creations.

Okay I’m off to another hectic day. Took my walk, swimming laps and then getting ready to help my SIL take their other car in, but it’s going to be a much longer drive, and then they’ll pick it up this evening, but I’ll have to get both kids and the 15 month old is running now, so he’s into everything. Plus, I have to take my granddaughter to dance class tonight, and I imagine I’ll be chasing down the toddler for an hour. Oh well, more exercise for me. lol

I’m up to 36K on Big Cat Magic, getting closer to the end and I have another day of edits on Highland Wolf and then have to start proofing it. But it will be hard since I’ve got my granddaughter all day tomorrow also. The weekend is mine to work! Finally!

Have you ever felt that way????

Picture of my neighbor’s grand-daughter, Tin Man and my havanese–Tanner is telling Max that it’s okay. Momma will take off the hats soon and then they can go home…

And a pumpkin house for OZ.

Waiting on final edits for Billionaire Wolf Christmas, and working on My Highlander. The key is to set the word goal on the calendar. Makes me much more accountable. But I also want to decorate for Christmas before my son and his girlfriend get here for Thanksgiving. Why? No, not because the stores started back in…well September,  or earlier, but because we’re going to try and take some Christmas pictures and it’s the only time we all will be together. And they’ll be here early, so it’s coming soon!!!

This will be the first time my son will see his niece. 🙂 <3

Off to get to word count. Have a fun day and try not to end up where you didn’t plan to, unless it’s for fun. 🙂
