Quinn’s mission is to steal a woman from a clan and escort her to his brother, Cormac, the chief of their clan, so he can marry her. But Quinn’s brother has tried to have him murdered before, and Quinn suspects Cormac is hoping the woman’s clan kills him this time, if the mercenaries they sent with him don’t do the deed first.

Avelina’s cousin warns her that the storm sank a ship and a warrior lays on the shore, badly injured, but armed. Armed with a sword of her own and with her wolf companion, Avelina finds Quinn and rescues him from the incoming tide, but now she must hide him from her kin before they learn he planned to steal her cousin away. If he survives his injuries and her kin, he must deal with his traitorous brother before it is too late.

Little does Clara Hart know that when a cute Arctic wolf pup bites her, that it would lead to finding love. When Clara and Owen Nottingham lock eyes, while in their wolf forms it’s kismet. Two years after Clara’s bite and that anonymous, yet enchanted encounter with Owen, fate brings the two of them together again. Although this is the first book in a spin-off series, readers might want to check out LEGEND OF THE WHITE WOLF. LEGEND OF THE WHITE WOLF is about Owen’s pack members Faith and Cameron.

Sunset Highlighting Fall Colors

Red Captures the Eye

Whether red is the main focus, or it’s a hint of red used as an accent, red captures the eye.

When I was a teen, I went to see Dracula with my mother at a college play. I was hooked on him, by the way, but in the scenes, everything was black and white, beautiful. Except for one red item in the scene. A red rose. A glass of red wine. That red dominated the scene.

And I finished writing My Highlander last night! I have to type up my notes, edit, re-read, but it’s done!!! Not finished, finished, but close!

Back in the Highlands

At least in the book.

Some beautiful places in Scotland! Castle Moil Ruins on top of the hill. It’s a bit of a climb, so if you’re the enemy, you’ll have trouble reaching it. 🙂 <3

I’ve been writing, without editing (much). I can’t write and not edit. But I’m over halfway done, and I wanted to go back in and pick up loose threads and begin to weave magic. In other words, make sure I don’t have a lot of mixed up stuff in the book… But weave magic sounds so much more….magical, doesn’t it?

And also, when I get stuck, like I have for the last 2 days, horrors, because I’d hoped to be much further along, it can help unstick me. 🙂

The Highlands

Black face sheep, looks to be fairly pregnant, and two Highland calves. They looked like they got a face trim though. 🙁

Okay, I reached 40K on My Highlander, so nearly reached the NaNoWriMo goal of 50K for the month. But I’m trying to reach 70K at least for publication.

Baby day! And my camera had dust in it so I took it to be cleaned. It looked like the sensor had a scratch on it. Thankfully, it was just dust.

Giraffes–for Fun

There’s just something about a giraffe that’s…lovable.

I have to admit I only reached 29K yesterday. Baby was needy and I just couldn’t get any more done on My Highlander. I had wanted to get to 30K. Though, it really was my free day and on my regular schedule, I would have to be at 18K today, so doing great. I also did critique a winner’s first 20 pages of her novel. Need to reread it this morning and make any further comments and send it back to her.

Not to mention I was awake all the night before and I just couldn’t think by the time the evening rolled around. Have you ever done that? It’s like having super-charged caffeine and you can’t sleep.

Anyway, so hope to make up for it today. Hope you have a great one!!! The puppies are telling me they are STARVING. Like, why? They slept all night. 🙂 <3

Heart of the Wolf! & Triplet Bear Cubs

Publishers Weekly’s Best Book of the Year

I was so busy writing My Highlander, love it when I’m in the zone, when I got the request for promo blogs for Heart of the Wolf, I was like, oh yeah, it’s coming in January!

Triplet bear cubs–so the Zoo thought that Momma and Daddy were too old to have cubs. What did they know? Where there’s a will….

I kept thinking my next release is Flight of the White Wolf! It’s coming in May, so a little time to do the promo blogs. Then All’s Fair in Love and Wolf (the Silver Town Wolves), cover is done, waiting on approval, and Billionaire Wolf Christmas (Oct), cover not done yet.

And I need to come up with my next 3 titles for Sourcebooks, those for 2018.  I keep forgetting about Heart of the Wolf coming out in January!!!

A new novella, Night of the Wolf, is included in the re-release. I reworked a scene and made some changes throughout in Heart of the Wolf. When I was asked to offer excerpts that were family-oriented, I was having a hard time. It’s sexy, it’s wolfish, and it’s romantic suspense. It’s not a book for kids. 🙂 But I did the blogs and so I’m back to focusing on My Highlander.

My goal is to reach 25,000 today on My Highlander. My puppies are telling me that before I do anything more at the computer, they want to be FED.
