It’s a good thing they’re not surrounded by sharks. I did have a hammerhead in there, but I wanted a more serene scene. lol
I’m off to work with my granddaughter some more. We’ve been doing worksheets, painting sun catchers, and coloring printable pages for coloring. We made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, fed the birds, and we’re about to do dancercizing next. When my daughter arrives to take her home, we do Pilates, but that means juggling the baby too. Sometimes he’s fine, but last time I ended up trying to do them with him in my arms on my lap. lol
I was trying to figure out my timeline again on my book, so think I have it all figured out and I’m at 75K. Need 80K for minimum. Almost there! I should have word count by Thursday.
I had a yellow lab and she loved all things. She even rescued a baby bird that had fallen from its nest. She was the sweetest.
Okay, I’m off to write, still managed to get 72,000 on Wolf on the Wild Side and need 8,000 more. Hope to get 2,000 today. Well, more, but I have to get 2,000.
I thought I had started heating my teapot before I ran the dogs out after they had their breakfast, unless the circuit breaker tripped. But when I went to take a sip from my thermos, ack, the tea was ice cold. Have you ever wondered if something weird like that means you got up on the wrong side of the bed that morning? lol
Have a fun day! I’m off to heat my tea for real this time and start my day the right way! Which means doing Wordle next! Then 4thewords and then writing.
As much as they are adorable, do not pet the lion cub, just saying.
Well, I’m off to start on writing, it is now Wolf on the Wild Side, Kayla and Nate’s story. I’m up to 70K, hope to get 2K today. I thought of a change I had to make and of course that changed a whole lot. But that’s okay. I’m going through and updating it now and then need to add some scenes. 80K is the minimum, so nearly there!
Have a great day! Mine is cold and wet, a GREAT time to stay in and write.
Did not get any writing done, well 50 words, but… It was babysitting day. We exercised to dance music and I plan to do that with her every time she’s here! That’s the problem with writing–too much sitting!
I did have an idea this morning and so I’m going to be writing on it next!
Hope you all have a wonderful day and any dragons you meet are peaceful!
It’s another whirlwind day, another night short on sleep. Hoping to get a bunch of stuff done today and be able to relax after this! Well, and write, write, write.
In the portrait, the cats are behaving themselves. In real life, not too sure. lol
The one Highland book I was having narrated is done and I need to proof it, and I really, really, really need to get back to work on the current book. I managed in 2 days to get 1,000 words. I only have 12K to finish word count, but I just need to have the uninterrupted time to do it.
And then last night, I was thinking ahead to the other deadline books. Okay, forget to publish this!
Most errands run–oil light and tire light had come on in the car. Done!
It turned out really warm today, so we took a walk early. We’ve already done a jaguar craft with a puppy dog suncatcher to do and a walk to the pond to feed the turtles too. It’s supposed to get to 77 today.
I’m also trying to get some word count AND tax work done.
I need to still feed the dogs, and get back to work on edits, but I created this the other day. I love it when a scene means something. In this, you can tell they want to meet each other, but they’re a little cautious.
Prince Argon has taken Lady Kersta and her companions hostage because he needs them to help him rescue his sister from captivity and then he must return to his princedom and make his twin brother pay for his crimes. Kersta and her friends have special abilities that he hopes to use. But now they have a new problem. The prince’s sister is being offered to either one of two suitors, and they’re in the fight to the death to keep her. The man who holds the strings is a king who claims she’s his niece, but Argon knows the man is not their uncle!
Kersta can’t believe she and her companions have paid passage on the prince’s ship to take them home and instead he’s taken them to the Emerald Isle of Mists on a rescue mission and all because a soothsayer has predicted this will come to pass. Not only is danger all around them, but Kersta’s whole life is about to be turned upside down.
So I have a fan role-playing group for my cougar series on Facebook and they’re so cute. I was trying to figure out which character needed a mate in an upcoming cougar book and I now have a list of characters two pages long. I loved it! They are so cute.
From sisters-in-law to vet assistants to brothers, and even a request by a father to have some kids–I adored the comments.
Okay, I’ve already been to the grocery store and run other errands before eight this morning. The only regret I have is that it was so cold this morning, still is, that mist was rising off the ponds and I wished I’d had my camera with me and snapped some shots.
Time to do Wordle, and work on A Wolf’s Second Chance!
