Tree Branch Shadow Art

tree branch shadow (640x480)

I love clouds and water and trees and birds. The Canada geese were collecting material for bird’s nests. All of them had their beaks full of the mulch around the trees. And most of the boats are still not in the water because Chicago can still get a late freeze. This is Lake Michigan and it was a beautiful clear day. Bonnie, who lives in Chicago, says that it’s often a gray day in the winter/spring. But it was beautiful when I was at the lake that day. 🙂

I was trying to get a picture of the Canada geese, but I had my point and shoot camera so the geese didn’t turn out that well. But I loved the blue sky highlighting the still bare branches and the tree branch shadows on the grass. Do you see the ferris wheel at Navy Pier?

Have a super great day!

    • Thanks, Pam. Yeah, I loved the blue water. I swear I was a… well dolphin in another life. I was going to say fish, but dolphins are more intelligent. 🙂 But I’m always drawn to the water.

  1. I found this interesting when someone shared this with me a few years back, and I mean this in the most politest of ways but they are Canada Geese, not Canadian Geese as they do not have Canadian citizenship status. A proud Canadian who dodges a lot of Canada Goose lawn poop!
