Muscovy Ducks in Okinawa

The one was telling the other off, I was sure.

We have them here in Houston. I expected to see a lot of coastal birds but really didn’t see much in the line of them. I saw two falcons around the castle ruins, but I wasn’t able to take a shot of them. :( No water birds like seagulls or pelicans like we have in coastal areas out here. I kept asking the kids where all the birds were. lol

They did have these ducks at the war memorial, the parrots at the botanical gardens, and a little bird, forget what it was called. I saw a flock of egrets from behind some palm trees, and a heron that landed where the parrots show was. I also saw another heron flying over the water, but didn’t get a good shot, cranes at the botanical gardens, and rose doves. But other than at the gardens, I just didn’t see much of anything but, oh, yeah, crows!!!

I’ll show off more pictures as I have time for. Still working on edits on Mated for Christmas and worked on ones for Night of the Vampire. 🙂

Have a great day!!
