Great News!

Love compiling images to create a picture–love jaguars.

The great news, if I’m reading it right, is that my bone marrow biopsy shows the cancer is still mostly in remission after 5 weeks of no chemo. YAY!

Which means they can let me have a few more days of antibiotics before they start the heavy-duty chemo and then the stem cell transplant.

I’ll see the doctor late this afternoon, wish it was earlier, and learn what he wants to do. But I’m feeling so much better, thinking the pneumonia is getting resolved, so hopeful we can get this started on Monday. I don’t want to be admitted to the hospital again, after being admitted twice for getting sick. But unless I have the stem cell transplant, I’m afraid I’ll continue to get sick, and they’ll have to keep delaying.

Once I have it, it’s still a rough road ahead. I’ll be sick, have to run in all the time for them to monitor it, but I’m hoping my body can deal with it, and I’ll be on the road to recovery.

I did manage to write 1100 words, short of the 1400 I wanted to write, but I thought that was pretty good!

Hope your day is fabulous. Mine is so far!

  1. Hi Terry
So glad and thankful for you that you got good news.
I am continuing to pray for you.
Not much happening here; except hubby got the go ahead for his new Pacemaker. He has been so tired since his pacemaker went into a holding mode.
July 28th cannot come soon enough.
Calgary Stampede had Shania Twain, a Canadian, as Grand Marshall on horseback in the parade. She is besides being a great singer, a great horsewoman.
Pierre Poilievre our Conservative Leader and our Premier Danielle Smith were there. Both are Albertan’s.
Keep on getting rest for you to heal.
I am glad your lungs are healing. And you are in remission. And you will get your Stem Cell transplant plant soon.
    Love Sheila
