Did you know that baby snails have a soft shell and as they eat calcium, it hardens? Remember how important calcium is to our bones and teeth? Well, for a snail, it’s his home, protection, burden to carry. 🙂
But what makes the shell so beautiful, or not? Genetics? Mom and Pop? Luck? I saw a ton of snails in the yard that day, only I couldn’t capture them because I ran out of space on my card. Ugh.
I managed to capture him, and he was beautiful. Does he know it? Does it make him more conceited than the other snails? Ahhh, but who’s to say what constitutes beauty? Truly, it is in the eye of the beholder.
To his fellow snails, he might not be beautiful at all.
Have a super great fun and frisky Friday!

Snails always remind me I need to go fishing. That snail is a real looker, I wonder if it would attract a better fish than a less pretty snail?
LOL, I didn’t know you could use snails for fish bait. I know they’re not good for the garden. Tanner likes them as raw escargot when they’re not in their shell. Extra protein, you know. I think the one with a pretty shell might attract a prettier fish. 🙂
LOL! I don’t think the fish care if the snail’s shell is pretty… but, I’m not a fish… so who knows?
LOL, I’m sure if it’s just wiggling, that’s what’s interesting to the fish. LOL 🙂
Lovely xoxo
Thanks,Claudia!
