My Little Man–Well, Snowman

In this rare weather event in the Houston area, I had to make a snowman. But I waited until it was warmer out!!! We actually had 4″ of snow.

While I was making him, Tanner kept trying to eat his nose, so I had to put him in the house with Max so I could finish the little guy.

Snow-covered roses in bloom. I had to dig out my chives, which are doing great, surprisingly enough, to snip some for dinner. I hope I don’t lose them before the cold snaps we’re getting stop.

I’m off to write before I forget the scene I was thinking about this morning.

Sock Snow People

We are listening to this music, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=___dONb5CBs while we were making the Snowman and Snowgirl. My granddaughter helped fill the snow people with rice and picked out the socks for the hats and all the decorations. She wanted a ton of other things from my knick-knack box on hers, but I managed to slip some of it back in the box. lol

I realized after they were made, they were supposed to be in two parts, not 3 part snowmen. But either works great!

Okay, we’re back at it! I managed 3K on Emerald Isle of Mist yesterday. I hope to at least get 1,000 today.

Brrrr…Getting Cold Here!

Yes, even the bears are putting on snowman sweaters. 🙂 It’s all relative. It drops to 40’s for us and that’s COLD. And it’s good for me while I’m writing Loving the White Bear!

Hope you are enjoying the brace of cold weather for all those hot folks in the south. For the north, not so much so, I’m sure. I wanted a fireplace, but this home didn’t have one, so this time of year, it would be so nice to have a gas fireplace.
