We had a fun walk in the wetlands with my son, daughter, and granddaughter. Someone had decorated some native youpan holly trees with Christmas balls, so I had to take a picture. It was beautiful weather, perfect for a walk.
I should have taken pictures of them, but there are a lot of low bridges to raise the path over high water areas when there is some and every time we came to one, we had to slow down and creep across the bridges looking for trolls, being quiet of course, and then I said, “We’ve got to run!”
And then with her little hand in mine, we’d race across the rest of the bridge. By the second bridge, Keira was ready to run and would cry out the warning. So that was the game the whole time. So much fun.

We’ve been playing games as a whole family at night, and one that we played was Drakon, I think the name was. That was fun. Keira and I won the first night, gathering all the coins. My son-in-law sicced the dragon after me several times last night, or I would have won again. Karma–my daughter won instead. lol Then after they went home, my son and I were watching Mandalorian. Love the baby Yoda.
My granddaughter was drawing primitive pictures of wolves and my daughter said she’s around her grandmother too much. lol
Okay, I’m off to slay monsters and get some word count before little one is here and that’s the end of that idea.
Have a super day!!
