Hawk fae Ariana is a guard for the royal family, a highly coveted position, and one she has worked hard at, but on one trip to the human world to have fun in the sun with her friend, she makes the mistake of saving a couple of children from drowning in the Gulf of Mexico. Now she’s working on all dangerous missions and he’s afraid he’ll lose her for good. Still, helping her to return to the fae world of the living isn’t in the plans.

I’ve had so much fun writing about the fae so I’m glad to finally have this one ready for everyone who is following the mischievous fae in The World of Fae series. I also finished final print proofreading of Dawn of the Jaguar and so it’s ready for preorders. It’s coming out on Tuesday, November 30th!
Erin Chambers is leaving the FBI to join her father in his Big Cat Investigative Agency. She loved her job, but she wants to be closer to her father and have more freedom to run as a jaguar shifter when she can. But she knows dealing with her dad’s sole private investigator, Jason Biggerstaff, is going to take some work. He’s a hot jaguar and turns up the heat whenever he’s around her without any effort at all, to her consternation. But he’s not fond of the FBI, and she and he butt heads all the time. He’s been like a son to her father, so she knows he was thinking he could take over the business one day. That’s not happening.
Jason Biggerstaff is busy with investigations, not thrilled that Erin is joining the agency, but all that changes when they are embroiled in missing kids’ cases, their usual run-of-the-mill investigations, and she’s really good at her job. No matter how much he fights the attraction he has for her, it’s a losing battle. What starts out as just them handling their usual cases, turns into something worse—a snow leopard shifter in trouble and they must save him without landing themselves in a worse mess than they already are, which includes dealing with this growing need to take their relationship to something they never bargained for.

I worked late on the books so I didn’t get enough sleep this morning. My internal alarm clock won’t let me sleep in. I have to work on edits on another book and at least 3 bear orders, so I’ll try to get some of that done today when I can.
My son and I missed our walk yesterday. We were going to walk while the turkey and ham were cooking, but it poured rain until after my daughter and her family arrived. We had 4″ of rain. Badly needed, so I was glad.
We played board games and watched movies and had a lot of fun. I’ll probably babysit today so they can see a movie since my SIL couldn’t take off time to see some with us. And my son and I hope to get in a walk, but brrrr, it’s cold!
