No Rabbits or Eggs, but…

Planting lots of flowers. I wore myself out moving 500 lbs of dirt for the planting beds yesterday, but was still digging up ferns and moving them, and planted 2 salvia plants, a miniature rose, daylilies, an iris.

The daylilies always look so dead that I planted out back. I hope they come out okay. The ones out front are beautiful, but I planted them every year for years and they’re filling in nicely. I love them because like their name, flowers pop out daily spring, summer and fall.

This was the fuchsia miniature rosebush that I planted. Above it is crepe myrtle of the same color. If I had room, I would plant the fuchsia salvia in the same area. It’s always pretty when you can have a group of plants with the same color, unifying that part of the garden.

Off to pilates torture and then celebrating my granddaughter’s birthday. Then it’s back to working on the garden. I need to plant a lavender, pink/peach miniature rosebush, and the fuchsia salvia. I have some teddy bear sunflowers seeds I want to put in also. 🙂 <3

Have a fun-filled day!!!
