I taped up the glass wings and then my granddaughter painted the rusty butterfly, claiming it for her own, of course. Besides the fairy garden ornaments I got her when she was 4, she has claimed my large fairy, that we both painted, and we took some old rusty metal flowers–the one in blue in this flowerbed–and painted them.
She does have two bell pepper plants and a tomato plant, some flower seedlings coming up.
I finished painting, I think, the bistro set. Every time I look at it, it has more spots I missed. But we’re getting rain this afternoon, supposedly, so I’m trying to finish that up.
And I need to replace the ligustrum around the electric boxes. I need to pull out the dead ones though. We’re celebrating my grandson’s birthday today with lunch and presents and the zoo tomorrow, so….I need to get busy to get more things done!
Have a terrific day!!!
