Robot Serving Dinner

My son and DIL took me to a restaurant in Okinawa where robots brought all our dishes of food. A unique experience for me!

Another double grandkids day, and then I have the next 4 days off to work on Wolf Bound. If I could just work on it religiously for the next 4 days, I would have it done.

Off to get ready for the grands!

Hopefully the robots won’t really take over the world….

Saving the Monarchs

They love to find safe spots near where all the milkweed is growing in my flowerbeds–3 cocoons shown here, and another couple on the other side of the cart. I’ve found them hanging off the fence and wrought iron planters, anywhere that is nice and safe for them.

Salvia in Bloom

This is at a park near one of our libraries. I’ll be taking the grands to that today to pick up the free books they earned for their summer reading. They read every day so it’s not like they’ll stop once they do this. We turned in the HEB Buddy one also, and if my granddaughter will write down what she likes about the books she read, she’ll get a GS reading badge and a free book from Barnes and Noble. She’s already done the reading and written down the titles.

I’m off to get things done before they get here. The birds and dogs are ravenous.
