This morning, at 5 a.m., I was taking pictures of snow. In the Houston area, we rarely get it, so I was like a kid on Christmas morning, wanting to see if we had some. Sure enough, we did, and it’s still snowing.

It’s still really dark out. Love how my phone can take pictures in the dark and they turn out great.
Of course the dogs are trying to find where to go and I’m wanting to hurry them up! They’ve seen snow twice here some years back and once in Crawford. Tanner was eating it. He loves to chew on ice cubes.
I managed to get to 39K on Protecting the White Bear. The weather sure makes it easier to write about snow.
Hope your day is super fine!

Hi Terry Wow snow in Texas.
We here have been getting just a skiff. In my yard and around we have lots of snow.
Sheila
That’s so cool, Sheila! Yes! The grandkids will be so excited when they wake up to see it. My granddaughter probably remembers it, but my grandson probably doesn’t. 🙂
I am new to the Houston area ( Spring). I’m originally from Amarillo where they get alt of snow, just recently 9” to 11” a couple of weeks ago. I have been enjoying the mild weather here.
Hey, Karen, I’m in Spring too. I lived in Canyon, Texas, went to the university there and worked in Amarillo. I remember coming home in a blizzard! We had some in Crawford too. We rarely have it here. I’ve been living here for 11 years now–been through 2 hurricanes, a tropical storm, and another bad weather event that I don’t think was even called anything, but we lost power! We had snow twice before this and the ice storm that was so bad and my daughter and SIL said nothing ever happened here weatherwise until I moved here. lol I enjoy the mild winters though. Welcome to Spring!
