Sea Lion Sunning

It was a cool day at the zoo, so this sea lion was sunning while another was splashing him every time he swam by, but this sea lion wasn’t fazed.

Monkeying Around

Took the photo at the Houston zoo. They were so cute.

I managed to get 2,000 words written yesterday after the grandkids went home. We had a fun day.

It’s very cold out here still. My chives and bell peppers are still holding up. The birdbath water is frozen.

I’m off to work.

She looks so sweet an innocent, but she’s watching for prey.

I took the photo at the Houston Zoo, the first time the big cat was moving around where I could catch her. There are two, but the other one didn’t show herself.

I managed writing 2,000 words yesterday. I’m 1/7th done on Protecting the White Bear!

Cougar on the Rocks

I took the photo before Thanksgiving–the first time one actually paused to pose for me. He looks hungry. lol

Well, I did it. I got my 2,000 words for yesterday and my 1,200 for the day before, AND the 2,000 for New Year’s Eve that just vanished without me writing a word. So I’m up to 8,000 and hope to have 14K by Sunday, like I originally planned.

I’m off to work!

And you’re right on track for the new year! lol

My goal yesterday was to write 2000 more words on Protecting the White Bear, but I only got 800. I’ve been trying to find pictures I can combine for a cover that will inspire me. But I need to just get on with writing!

So by not doing my word count yesterday, my goal is 3200 words today. See what happens when I don’t reach my goal? I make it harder!

I’m off to really write!
