Having Fun Creating a Logo

So this is day 1 after the stem cell transplant. I couldn’t keep my breakfast down during the 4th bag of stem cells. The stem cells made my tongue and the back of my throat prickle, which caused the gag reflex, I believe. The nurse slowed down the transfusion and that helped so I could manage the rest of the bag.

The staff gave me a chocolate cake and a birthday card for my transplant yesterday. I have been reborn. lol Which means no immunity to childhood diseases or anything, not good. In 3 to 6 months I can get the vaccinations. And my blood type will change to my donor’s blood type.

This weekend, I’ll have the last of the chemo for two days. Once I get through that, hopefully my blood counts will rise and I’ll be feeling better. But they did warn me the counts will fluctuate.

I was feeling a little better last night, so managed to get some work done on Wolf Heir. I have two days of rest, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get more done on it today and tomorrow. The weekend will be rough.

Hope your day is glorious!!

Terry

  1. Hi Terry
Congratulations you are now in the home stretch.
Now more than ever you need my prayers.
Please for your sake do not get any vaccinations.
Two weeks I hopefully to finally get my fence done.
I put all my plants I got in the ground and will transplant them in the Spring. Sure am glad I got hanging baskets to enjoy.
With all the removing the river rock I got many voluntary plants that sprouted up. Like Borage that has not been seen for years.
I read your latest book ‘Protecting the White Bear’ and loved it.
Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest.
May our God and Saviour Yeshua’ Jesus bless you and continue to hold you close in the hollow of His hands.
He is a great God who loves you, Terry.
All my Love and prayers, Sheila

    • Thanks!!! Yeah, I have 101 days of having to be watched 24/7 by family and a friend for appts and constantly make sure I don’t have to rush to the hospital with high fevers and such. So I have a long way to go, but I’m on my way. Woohoo!! Thanks, Sheila! I love river rocks. That’s fun that you moved them and got some new plants!

  2. Good Morning Terry
I have been worried about the vaccines you said you will have to take. JF Kennedy Jr. who is on Trump’s team would advise you not to take them. I personally do not take any vaccines.
I hope you will think about this seriously.
Also I do not understand why you have to have more chemo after getting your Stem Cell transplant as chemo kills cells. But what do I know, nothing about medical stuff.
Anyway those are my thoughts. You have to do what you want to do as we have freewill. And I cannot tell you what to do. I am just very concerned.
We are here in Edmonton a heat wave. 30 degrees Celsius which is hot for us in Canada. I just wilt.
I hope you have a good today.
    Love Sheila.
PS I love the wolf logo you did.
I love wolves, horses (as I am a cowgirl), all the cats, but especially Snow Leopard’s, meerkat’s and otters.
    Talk to you after.

    • Awww, a cowgirl, I should have known. Love Western-themed things. I saw a “real” cowboy in a TX cafe one time. He epitomized the true cowboy, not these actors that are such pretty boys. His clothes were the real deal, I guess I should say he was a working cowboy and it was fascinating.

I had all the vaccines before, except what wasn’t available at the time and was sicker than a dog when I had to live through those. The vaccines protected me from a lot of nasty stuff out there.

Big HUGS, Sheila. Don’t worry about that for me. The real killer is the leukemia. But I so appreciate your concern.

The chemo sounded wrong to me, but it’s to make sure that my white blood cells which had gone down to 0 weren’t coming back and fighting the transplanted cells. I feel so much better today. No nausea. The dr said the chemo they’re giving to me is a milder form, so that’s good!!
