Anything to cool down our sizzling weather. It felt like 107 on Tuesday, 104 on Wednesday, and 97 today, and 99 tomorrow and the next day. So it’s going mostly in the right direction. It’s around 74 instead of 80+ in the morning, so that’s good.
It was cloudy all day, so I got a lot of weeding and trimming done, but it was still 104 with the cloud cover. And the mosquitoes are awful. I wore bug repellent, but it didn’t last long. Plus, I moved a bag of dirt and it was covered by fire ants, so I got bitten.
But today, even though the high is 97, it’s going to be all sun, and that makes it feel even hotter.
Well, I’m off to write on Bear in Pursuit. I’m at 42,000!
Have a cooler day than us!

Hi Terry
Oh no snow or rain. It is already cooler up here in Alberta and I am already wearing sweaters.
I am so sorry you have so much heat. And 104 degrees is 40 in Celsius here and we rarely get that.
The rainy season has finally stoped and now we have cooler temperatures.
I am now reading my Jaguar books as I finished the Cougar series. I just love crossover books. My favourite one is what I am reading right now.
Wolves, Jaguars and Cougars are great.
I also loved the white Wolf series with the crossover one. I especially love the young wolf shifting in daycare. It was hilarious.
Well it’s time for breakfast.
Love Sheila Claire
Lol, yeah, that was a really fun book to write. He was just always getting himself into trouble. 🙂 I’m having fun doing crossovers with the cougars and wolves and bears too. 🙂
