At my zoo, the cougars are really active. But these two were lazing around, grooming themselves. They have a lovely exhibit, but from the original picture before I cut it down to focus on the cougars, it was really hard to see them.

In fact some others looking at the rocks thought they weren’t there.

Can you imagine coming across them in some canyon somewhere? Jaguars are not known to attack humans, but when it comes to tigers, lions and cougars, all bets are off.
