Spring Days are Perfect for a Tea Party

I can’t wait to start the fountain in the backyard and feed the birds, welcoming them home! This means the crazy squirrels will be grabbing all the seeds they can too.

I know my dogs will be ecstatic to see me. Fingers crossed it’s very soon.

The Tea Party

When little one gets bored, it’s time for a tea party!

I managed 2,000 words after she went home. I had to cut out a 1,000 words because it was for the beginning of the old story and I couldn’t use it so finally cut it out. I never toss stuff like that because I might still use it. I just keep it in the folder with the original story as a cut out because I still like what I wrote, it just doesn’t fit with the new version. I’m up to 20K on the story. About 3K or so left!

Too Tired To Play

So my granddaughter and I took a walk, danced to Baby Shark music, naturally, played chase, hide and seek, read stories, worked on the letter P, watched movies, explored the backyard, got scared by a butterfly and ran into the house and shut the door to protect herself, and finally at 2:45, she crashed. I had to wake her at 4:30 to go home with her daddy and when she went home, she told her mommy she was too tired to play.

Score 1 for Grandmommy!

And I received proofing for Joy to the Wolves, so I’m back to that, need to do promo blogs for Night of the Billionaire Wolf, and jump back on Red Wolf again!

Word Count…Ready for an UnBirthday Party

Bad news/Good news.

On word count. The bad news is I’m behind. The good news is I scheduled myself off for the weekend because of the party and I was planning to go to a brunch on Sunday. Soooo, I canceled on the brunch, I’m as ready as I’ll ever get for the party, and I have some time before everything kicks off to write this morning and all day Sunday. I need 3400 words to reach my 16,000 word goal.
