With this Highland cow, I was able to capture a picture of the river also and the trees reflected on its glassy surface. If I’d chanced upon a Highlander hunk in a kilt, I’m afraid there wouldna have been a breeze to give us ladies a thrill.
*sigh* So just as well all we had to take pictures of were the Highland cows. Isn’t he beautiful?
They reminded me of English sheepdogs with bangs hanging over their eyes. 🙂

Were you in Scotland when you made this photo? It is an interesting animal. Maybe the colder climate explains the longer hair than our cows have?
Yes, I was in Scotland. 🙂 They’ve brought some to the States though. They say they eat about anything, so they’re very hardy. But I’m certain they would like the cooler climes here better! 🙂 Reminds me of the woolly mammoths.
And definitely on the fur. Keeps them warmer on those blustery cold and wet rainy days. 🙂
I’m loving me those blue eyes ! 🙂
LOL, Pam, skip the cow, go for the Santa! 🙂
