Turning a Photo into Inspiration

lake view in Scotland 002 (640x417)I love taking photos of anything and everything and some of my fans kept saying I needed to frame them. Well, at the old house, I had no space for one more picture of anything. But at the new house, lots of wall space. So…this was one of my most favorite photos of Scotland. Though I have tons. I want to do one of Eilean Donan. But I loved the flowers, trees, the hills and loch. And down below, you can even see the roof of a cottage that adds more character to the photo.

I’ve always wanted to live on the water. I love the water. But I also love trees and hills and flowers. What could be better than being able to glance over from my desk and see the beauty of Scotland whenever I’m writing? It looks like a window to the great outdoors–my personal outdoors. It just needs a castle off in the distance.

Don’t you love it? Do you have a picture that inspires you?

    • That would be great, Michel. When I was at a neighbor’s home that had been the model home for the development, they had shown me the pictures that had come with the house. What would have made them truly special was if they’d taken them themselves. 🙂 That’s what makes this one so special for me.
