So with this photo I took of daylilies in my garden, I had tons of water drops on the flowers, and I limited it to some of the bigger ones. It was fun painting water drops! I created the background, but there should be some more instruction on creating other kinds from the actual photo. I’m hoping.
I’m off to the store–have to get medicine–so I might as well get groceries while I’m at it, even though I don’t need too much. I like to keep an extra supply of dog food, just in case. We have hurricane season right now, and it’s a good idea to be prepared.
I was reading an article about a man who had used all kinds of precautions against COVID-19, until he went out for dinner, eating in two nights in a row with friends and nobody wore masks. It would be hard to do while eating anyway. So after months of being careful, he threw caution to the wind and ended up with COVID-19. The take away? Don’t let down your guard!
I feel that some think that since they aren’t getting it–because they’re being careful–it really doesn’t exist or that they won’t get it–they’re immune. But, as his case shows, and others do too, it doesn’t work like that. The problem is it’s highly contagious!
I remember when we had gas mask training in the army and to make us believers that the masks were really protecting us, after we were wearing them for several minutes, we had to take them off. That makes nonbelievers into believers, believe me!
Okay, so on that note, I’ve got to don my mask, hope for the best, and get my medicine and some groceries. Still working on the story. Hope to get further today. I actually ended up with 1500 words yesterday, despite having little one here.
