Orangutan at the Waco Zoo

There is a family of them there and I managed to get a good shot of the daddy close up to the window.

Well, little one will be here, so I’ve got to engage her in some educational stuff. We count by 10s on the drive home from pre-school, and I was counting with her by 100s also yesterday. She doesn’t like to share what’s going on at school, but they take pictures, so they have one of her holding her nose while she is touching a big red snapper. lol They’re doing oceans study this month. I’m working with her on previous months of workbooks she didn’t get to finish because of Covid concerns–sharing feelings and the earth and the solar system. Cool, right?

I want to extend her learning on oceans, but when she’s here, she doesn’t want to. So we’re working on the other workbooks. She can draw a circle, but I’m trying to teach her to draw a triangle.

Okay, I’m off to get something done before she gets here.

Have a great day and stay safe!
