Are you doing any more Christmas decorating? I had lights go out on the tree and so had to get another string. Of course it doesn’t match the other two that are still working, but I just like lights, so I’m happy.
Are you doing any more grocery shopping for Christmas? I’m making 7-layer bars with my granddaughter, but I needed some more supplies. So I had to shop yesterday morning early, and it was still crowded. Usually, at that time, it’s really empty.
Are you doing any more Christmas shopping? I needed one more thing for a Christmas stocking, so I ordered it online. It’s supposed to come in today. I also ordered Canadian pasteurized honey. It’s the only company I could find that makes it. Honey is good for you–unless you have leukemia. Then it has to be pasteurized.
And that should be it! I’m still working on my Christmas story. Okay, I’m back to it.

Our temperature was so warm yesterday, but cold again this morning. I need to get the ingredients for 7-layer bars. My granddaughter and I make them every year. I almost forgot about them as it has been such a rough time this year. But I saw a friend post that she was making them, and I was like light bulb time.
So I’ll make it with her closer to Christmas.

One of my favorite stories of the winter season is The Snowman. In the movie version, the music is beautiful.
I was out in the fog and then it started raining at 5 am (no rain forecast at all), while I was putting out the trash and cutting down a boxwood shrub that had died this summer. I’m not supposed to do yard work for a year, but it was driving me crazy seeing that poor dead plant in the yard. And since it was trash day, I wanted to get it out.
Hope you are doing well! My counts were better, platelets normal, so after Christmas, they’re starting me back on a half dose of the maintenance chemo. So I have another week’s reprieve. 🙂

Do you have a hodgepodge of colorful decorations, or are you color coordinated? I’ve collected so much over the years that my color palette is eclectic.
I am still working on Christmas Cougar Catastrophe. I haven’t figured out how to end it. I’ve written over 150 books, so I try to make sure each is very different from the others. So I keep thinking and thinking and thinking. lol

An AI company used a bunch of our books to “train” their AI without our permission, so they’re having to pay us a little money for each of the titles. Still filling out the form. Some of my rights have been reverted to me, some are listed as publishers but they’re publishing platforms, not publishers, so they shouldn’t get any money for it, some are solely mine–yay for indie publishing! And some I have to share with publishers. But then also lawyers. So I don’t expect much back. Though apparently they’ve made billions off our titles.
At least we might get a little compensation, which I hadn’t expected at all. The little guy doesn’t usually get anything. I really thought it wasn’t for real when I first heard about it.
Well, I’m happily at 30K on the word count for Cougar Christmas Catastrophe. Still trying to figure out a satisfying ending that’s different from all my other books.
