I don’t know why, but I love mushrooms. I took my grandson to the turtle pond after swimming and caught sight of these huge mushrooms behind a bed of flowers! So cool.

I reached 40K on The Chosen Fae! Woohoo! I usually write about 60 to 65K on them.

Good news is my blood counts are pretty good. But I’m going to have to be on chemo until November of 2027. Ugh. At least. Every time I think I’m going to be off it, they tell me I’m going to be on it for another year. I started in Feb of 2025. It’s to give my bone marrow time to rebuild so it can fight off the cancer, the nurse told me. It’s an aggressive cancer, so, sigh.

I’m hoping to pull more weeds today, they have taken over, but it’s soooo hot, it’s hard to do. And the mosquitoes are voracious.
