Took the photo at the Houston zoo. They were so cute.

I managed to get 2,000 words written yesterday after the grandkids went home. We had a fun day.

It’s very cold out here still. My chives and bell peppers are still holding up. The birdbath water is frozen.

I’m off to work.

Polar Bear Weather Coming!

Polar Bear at the San Diego Zoo: It’s going from the mid-70s today to below-freezing tomorrow. I’m getting temperature whiplash! I’m still working on book 4 of the White Bear Series: Protecting the White Bear.

Polar Bear Napping

Whenever I visited the Omaha zoo, the polar bear would be napping. He was beautiful, but he was also very old. So, on the last visit, he had gone to polar bear heaven. I loved seeing him, even if he was a tired old bear.

I finished Stolen Highland Dreams and was working on….ta da! Cleaning my house.

Not very exciting, I know. But it had to be done. Dogs are washed and combed out.

And I haven’t played it in months, but I might even get in an hour of playing my game!

Fall is Coming…Maybe Next Month or the Next

I’ve been having a time keeping up with my blog. I’ve been revising Loving the White Bear and so I get stared on it and forget to write.

We have another 88 degree day today, but supposedly our high later in the week will be cooler. I sure hope so!

Heron Fishing in Scotland

If I’d had my camera, this would have been a better shot. But I had my phone, zoomed way out to capture him from a distance through a window, fishing in the morning before foot traffic became distracting for him.

Still, I love the action pose, the stillness, contemplation, readiness, and focus. Did he catch a fish? Yes!

Mourning Dove

It’s cooler this morning! Yay! So no little one here so I was out working on pulling up more of that nutsedge weed grass. What a job. Sun was coming out, and the fire ants were getting bad so it’s time to get back to writing. I have about 6 cardinals out in the yard right now. Many are young.

I wrote 4,000 words yesterday, 1,000 words away from word count. Yay!

Okay, I’m going to get to work!

Okay, I’m running again this morning. My daughter and granddaughter and I are going for more bark mulch, then we’ll have tilapia and avocado–good MUFAS (Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) are a healthy type of fat. Replacing less healthy fats, such as saturated fats and trans fats, with unsaturated fats, such as MUFAs and polyunsaturated fats, may offer health benefits.)

Then I’m taking care of little one overnight. She always wants to stay and we have fun. But then we’ll get together in the morning and have lunch with her parents, and I will be free to write.

Photo Art–Eye of the Tiger

I just loved the tiger when I shot her, but the blurred wood and rock were in the way. So I added new logs, more leaves, texture background, and voila! Art!

I ran to the grocery store this morning at 7:30. I was glad to see that most everyone was wearing a mask. I also walked. It gets too hot after that.

I’m off to finish up Red Wolf marketing materials. I want to get started on Heart of the Highland Wolf novella, but have no idea what to write. lol

Zoo Day with Stuffed Animals

The neighborhood got together to do a Zoo Day with stuff animals in our yards so kids could visit the zoo on another day of stay-at-home activities.

My computer keeps locking up so I will say I finally managed to get 2,000 words on Red Wolf. I was trying to think of an opening, and I finally figured out one after several false starts. And I wrote 400 words on Seducing the Vampire. I’ve had Coronavirus news writer’s block.
