Warrior Elf, Book 3, Out Now!

Rina is a warrior elf from a long class of shadow warrior elves on the planet Xibos, a world populated by elves, griffons, dragons, giants, pixies, fairies, trolls, merfolk, centaurs, and other fantastical creatures. They’ve recently had visitors from a whole other planetary system who call Xibos a primitive elf world. But Rina doesn’t believe they are a primitive people in the least as she fights for right and though she earns much gold from her work, she also takes on cases where there is no hope of reward—just because it’s something she must do. Fighting is in her blood. And she has a magic trick up her leather sleeve. She is all about work and no play, so when she takes on the mission of rescuing a princess from a tower—if she even really needs rescuing—Rina ends up meeting a champion elf knight—who also rights wrongs. But he works for the king of Castle Grande of the Wild Meadowlands elves and she’s not sure they have the princess’s best interests at heart.

Artur serves as the king’s champion from a long class of champions of the Wild Meadowlands elves when he encounters a warrior elf fighting dark arts knights all on her own. He watches in fascination, until he eliminates the last one, and he’s not sure what to think of her. Does she have the princess’s welfare in mind? Or some darker purpose? He admires Rina, but he doesn’t trust her. Yet it appears they have a common enemy and until that’s resolved, he’ll watch her back and hope she watches his!

The World of Elves Continue!

Now that you’re all set with a new elf book, I’m back to work on Bear in Mind and …another two books. I’ve been flip-flopping between a couple of other books that are started. One is at 82K already, but I’m heavily revising it. The other is at 19K and will be a 50K book. So essentially they are both as far along as Bear in Mind. The long one is a Medieval Highland romance. The other is a vampire teen story sequel to Kiss of the Vampire.

I’ve been a little stumped on Bear in Mind… So, rather than waste the time trying to sort it out, I was playing around with the other 2 books also.!

Okay, enough chitchat. I need to get busy. I put out my candy cane lights and some other ground lights, then it poured and tripped the circuit breaker. So need to cover them with cord covers that I’m sure I have and I sure can’t find. Of course.

Today, I’m taking the dogs in for grooming. I normally don’t go anywhere over Black Friday–at least not to shop. But with getting baby on Mondays and Tuesdays starting next week, it will limit my writing time and getting other things done that I can’t do with him. Sooooo, the dogs are going to the groomers today.

Have a super fun Black Friday. I’m off to write….on something. 🙂

There’s an issue with Barnes and Noble’s website for the book, so I figure it won’t be resolved until after the holidays. It’s available everywhere else now though!

This looks like a delightful place to be today! I’m going to try and put out my Christmas lights if it’s not storming. We have fog and storms scheduled for a little later. I might just work on Bear in Mind.

Onward and Upward

Woohoo, finished Roxie’s story!! I was so excited. I finished proofing it, turned it over to my beta readers and now I’m off to figure out which story to work on next. I have Warrior Elf, 6,000 words. And Bear in Mind–24357 words. So for now, I’m just playing with both stories until I settle on one and finish it. Warrior Elf is the 3rd book in the series. Bear in Mind is the first.
