Life For the Silver Pack Just Got Wilder…
Elizabeth Wildwood has been a longer all her life, ostracized because of her “mixed” half-wolf, half-coyote blood. When she ventures into gray wolf territory on a dangerous quest of her own and his thrown together with the sexiest shifter she’s ever met she begins to wish for the first time that she could be part of a family.
When this unusual shifter female comes into his pack’s territory, it’s Tom Silver’s job to protect her—if only she would let him.
Praise for Silence of the Wolf:
“The outstanding and gripping plot of Spear’s latest installment in the Heart of the Wolf series will appeal to paranormal fans, and romance junkies will take delight in the red-hot love story embedded within.” —RT Book Reviews, 4 Stars
Winners for yesterday’s copies of the autographed ARC of Jaguar Hunt at the Casablanca blog are:

When you turn the book in, that’s only the beginning. Then there are first edits, second edits, copyedits, and final proofing. Then when the book is released, you have to get the word out. Why? Because you put all that work into it! That’s why!  🙂 And if you don’t do the promotion, no one else will. Only the really, really big time authors get all kinds of promotion, when they don’t need it.
That’s the way of the world.
So, after it comes out, we have to spend lots and lots and lots of time promoting it.
But wait, edits are coming in on the other 4 books I turned in since then.
And I have a deadline looming for another book.
But I also finished proofing Cougar’s Mate for print yesterday, and listened to auditions for 8 more books that will be narrated for audiobooks by 4 different narrators and offered contracts and was accepted for:
Hawk Fae, Dragon Fae, The Ancient Fae, The Winged Fae
Scepter of Salvation and Mage of Monrovia
Cougar’s Mate
Killing the Bloodlust
So what am I doing on here goofing off… again???
I autographed books at the local Barnes and Noble and Hastings Wednesday, and I’m off to final proof Jaguar Hunt. This is the last time for that book. It comes out in June! 🙂
Have a super great Friday!

Not sure how I missed that Terry, I would have stopped by and said hello. Cheers, Tom

  2. Hey, Tom, it was just a hit and run. 🙂 I went in and autographed them. 🙂 Maybe I can set one up for a future book and you can say hello then! I used to do them, but then have been so busy. 🙂 It’s just easier for me to run in and sign them and then readers just pick them up when it’s convenient for them. A customer was sort of following me around because I was signing some of the earlier books on the shelving, and I’m sure she wondered if I was just drawing in some books for fun. LOL 🙂 I did sign the new releases up at the front desk and saw here again, watching me. LOL

Stephen King was in Australia once, signing books on a shelf, and a customer reported him to the manager. LOL She was thrilled to meet him, and put all his books on a special display up front.
