I am back!!! We were at the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary staying at the cabin there, and here is Zoerro and Sabine, Rory Zoerb holding the leash.
We didn’t expect Rory to bring them up to the cabin and he made our whole trip soooo memorable. We were trying to take pictures of them through the fences at the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, but I didn’t get very many good pictures. So here, these were great. Thanks to Rory and Susan, who took some of the pictures with me in them, and to all the staff who were incredibly nice. Here I am petting Zoerro and Lor being as thrilled as I was.
I also signed books at the following places!
I have to say that Debbie and my dream to go to the wolf sanctuary we thought was only a dream. We both worked at the library together and couldn’t go at the same time. So when Rory, who was handling the wolves in the pictures, contacted me on FB and invited me to visit, I asked Debbie if she was ready to go. She said YES!! And when I posted on FB to see who else wanted to go, I had 4 more takers. Donna and Lor ended up going with us and we had a wonderful time. More about all of it, but I have to pick up groceries and my own little wolves. They’re of course domesticated Havanese puppies and no longer of the wild variety, unless they go crazy when I go to pick them up. Which they did last time I picked them up from the kennel!
I’ll share the wolves howling soon. 🙂

Thanks, Lin! I need to get myself together and run in and pick them up. I’ve been unpacking, trying to post, etc. 🙂 Got to pick up groceries too. 🙂
Were there three wolves, Terry? I saw Sabine and Zoerro and a second white wolf. Your puppies are too cute. I love how animals don’t forget us when we’re gone for long periods. I left my dogs with my mother-in-law when we went to Hawaii for four years. Unfortunately, only one survived. But she knew who we were. I have a cat now. She was a little over six months when I left her at the kennel. The women there fell in love with her. They teased me that they were going to draw straws to see got to take her home. When I saw her she seemed so huge. She’d grown a lot while I was gone. I left the end of June and returned the third week in August.
She was a white German Shepherd. I didn’t name her because I forgot to ask what her name was. She is Vuka. Tanner is much bigger. He seems to have gotten fat. I’ll have to watch his diet more. But he’s fur is also a lot thicker so he looks bigger also. They were much more subdued this time, but they were out playing with all the dogs, rather than in crates like the last time I picked them up (at the kennel). That’s sad when you lost some of yours before you got home. But yes, they remembered me. Just getting ready to post the video of the homecoming. 🙂
