First Robin of Spring?

robin (640x528)

She’s the first robin I’ve seen in the yard since I moved here and some say when the robins turn up, it’s the beginning of spring. Well, the temperature has been in the high seventies and low eighties, so it sure feels like it. I saw a beautiful blue jay also, but wasn’t able to catch him before he flew off. But also, my mourning doves, I have 2 pairs that frequent the feeders, or I should say the seeds dropped on the ground, came to pay a visit and sat on the shepherd’s pole just for me so I could take a picture of the two love birds.

mourning doves (640x427)I didn’t realize they have so much color on their bellies until they posed for me for the perfect shot.

Have a super great day!!!
