Robin Art

A fat little robin sitting on the fence.

I worked all day on Billionaire. Woohoo! Okay, so I should have been working on proofing White Wolf Moon, but I did the rest of the edits and then I was working on Billionaire, having a ball with it. I love it when that happens. So I’m up to 7,000 words on it. Only 73,000 words to go. And I proofed ch on White Wolf Moon.

At least I’m getting somewhere with it, so I wasn’t goofing off or anything.  And I was playing with a couple of pictures too.

So it was a great day! Today, I hope to get somewhere on proofing white wolf. lol

Even if the billionaire book is calling to me. Working on edits first on it!

Have a great day! It’s time to begin to work on proofing after I do the edits!

Stay safe!

Robin Juvenile Scratching an Itch

So I admit it! I HAD to go to the grocery store. I needed dishwasher soap, forgot to get it last time, so stocked up on more vegetables and–yes, of course, last chance to get my favorite Cadbury eggs. It’s nearly Easter. What can you expect?

If I don’t have long to live–who ever knows, right?–I want to have my favorite Easter treat before it’s too late.

They did have plexi-glass up to help protect the clerks at checkout. I’m so glad for that and hope it really helps.

I didn’t get very far on my writing yesterday, only 1,300. I did play one battle in Divinity–Original Sin 2. I had finished the first game, figured out how to make myself nearly invincible in that one and loved it, great ending, but then I had so many deadlines that I never got back to finish the 2nd game. Everything is different in that one, so I couldn’t use the same strategy. Darn it. But I’m at the last leg of the journey, I believe, so having fun relearning how to do all this stuff that I haven’t done in over a year. I need to finish it because it’s taking up a lot of storage on my computer that I don’t have–doesn’t that sound like a great excuse?

But first, I need to get to my writing. I’m kind of stuck or I would have had more done yesterday. Plus, I was editing, added new scenes which meant eliminating others, so I didn’t get as much word count.

I tried not to watch the news too late last night. It gave me nightmares the night before. The morning news is so unbelievable, I’m so angry about what’s going on, but I need to press on and do what I can to not help to cause the spread of the virus if I should get it and pray that everyone else can live through this…despite the dire predictions.

And I’m back to the new count of staying home. I did walk around the neighborhood this morning.

Stay home if you can and stay safe!

Nature is Art

Baby is on her way and so I have only about a minute to do this. Picture of a monarch on purple flowers with a splash of blue flowers. A robin closeup and a robin in the big picture out in the forest preserve on our walk. You can see the snow all over the gravel still. And a cute little tapir swimming in water, the shadows of things up above creating a surrealistic art in the water below.

I wrote 3,000 words on the plane on Claiming the White Bear…but I haven’t had time to type up the notes. Maybe today if I can keep baby preoccupied a bit. It’s cold!!!! And I’m loving it.

Have a super, duper day!

Uniqueness Wins Out

I rarely see a robin, and never that sits long enough for me to capture in a shot. And the pink zinnia are the first flower seeds I’ve planted that had any success. This is the first flower, but more are coming.

I’ll have to showcase the Tiger Mix Ganzania flowers. The orange and yellow one is yet another version that popped out yesterday. They fold up and pop out a new flower, but most are different. It was one of two rescued plants that were dying at a hardware store, and they’re my favorite because of all the unique flowers.

And I was excited to learn that an unnamed plant I rescued at the same hardware store last spring is a gorgeous daylily, unique color from my others. I’ll show pictures of it soon.

In writing, each of my stories has to be unique also. I’m finishing up book 25 in the wolf series. They’re all stand alone, so no need to read them in order. I turned in Flight of the White Wolf–and now am finishing up, and finishing up, and finishing up The Bounty Hunter Gets Her Wolf. I have had a bounty hunter heroine before, but she was trying to take down a Mobster, the same one that turned her and murdered her mother in Dreaming of the Wolf. In this one, the bounty hunter is after a wolf. But not just any wolf–a Silver wolf.

She should have known what would happen when she went into Silver Town–a wolf pack run town to take down one of their own. 🙂

Dreaming of the Wolf

Is he real or only a vision of his deepest desires…

Book 8

The Silver Wolves rule!

Have a great, and uniquely interesting day!

First Robin of Spring?

robin (640x528)

She’s the first robin I’ve seen in the yard since I moved here and some say when the robins turn up, it’s the beginning of spring. Well, the temperature has been in the high seventies and low eighties, so it sure feels like it. I saw a beautiful blue jay also, but wasn’t able to catch him before he flew off. But also, my mourning doves, I have 2 pairs that frequent the feeders, or I should say the seeds dropped on the ground, came to pay a visit and sat on the shepherd’s pole just for me so I could take a picture of the two love birds.

mourning doves (640x427)I didn’t realize they have so much color on their bellies until they posed for me for the perfect shot.

Have a super great day!!!
