Created Birdhouses for another Challenge–the one in the center is my own photo of a birdhouse I own.
I’m up to chapter 16 on You Had Me at Cougar. I had to make a lot of changes throughout because the story changes as I develop it. Five more chapters to go!
We’re going swimming this morning, daughter and baby and me. I usually swim for an hour before my daughter gets there and then she comes and I watch the baby while I write and she swims. Perfect for both of us. As long as we don’t have any storms. They’re supposed to be coming. But they’re always supposed to be coming.
Hope you have a lovely day. I’m nearly done with You Had Me at Cougar! Woohoo, then on to the next deadline book.
My mother did the paintings and I’m so glad I can display them here with all my other “blue-ware.”
Who says birdhouses are for the birds?
Everything shown is old, except some of the flowers, and most of the birdhouses. And the lantern. The birdhouse at the bottom is old. My mother got it, but had it out in all the weather. It’s the most exquisitely hand-painted birdhouse I’ve ever seen, and it was a shame it was out in all the elements for so many years. I rescued it and had it in the sunroom. But in the new house, it’s on top of the world on my kitchen cabinets. I felt like that this morning. Tanner decided he needed a bathroom break. I ignored him. Then finally gave up and remembered I could just let him outside. I didn’t have to take him out on leash. So I went back to bed. Tanner barks. Ugh. Then I’m so awake, forget going back to sleep. And I took Max out, cleaned up the house, and it’s time to settle down to work. When really, wouldn’t it be so nice to just skip working and get right to reading? Yeah.
Oh, and the proof of A Very Jaguar Christmas is done! But now it’s back to finishing SEAL Wolf Undercover. 🙂
Have a super day!!!
