I usually capture the birds while I’m inside the house looking out. But I sat down yesterday while the puppies played in the yard, despite how hot it was, and had my camera with me, intending to get shots of them, when a female cardinal landed on the fence and modeled for me. 🙂

At least Tanner and Max were playing until Tanner caught me trying to take pictures. 🙂

“What?” Max says to Tanner. “Oh, Mom’s out here with the camera again!”

I have 50 pages to go on Between a Wolf and a Hard Place, then I can turn it in and back to SEAL Wolf Undercover edits. 🙂
