Another wild winter first??? We have frozen snow/ice all over the grass, roofs still covered in snow, but I think it will get to 40 degrees and sunny, so it will probably all melt off. When we had snow after Thanksgiving, I didn’t know about it until I got up the next morning to take the puppies out. What a shock!
So this time, I was able to take pictures mostly from inside. Still too sick to spend a lot of time out in the cold, except when I have to take the dogs out. I caught the house wren on the feeder when it was sleeting. The mourning dove has a collection of ice on her back, and I was surprised to see goldfinches, so it was neat to capture them in the snowfall. It seemed the last two years, they came in February or March. The blue pictures were taken around 6 am before it was light out, and it was already sleeting. And I had fun trying to capture pictures of just the snow falling. There are still rosebuds waiting to open on my rosebush!
I have to begin writing Flight of the White Wolf promo blogs for it’s release in March. And I’m getting much closer to finishing Demon Hunter (teen book), so I’ll probably work on that until it’s done. I’ve promised it to my readers forever. 🙂
Have a super, wonderful day!!
