Telling a Story in Pictures

A wolf wanting to play, but Spirit, the horse, is getting all the attention.

And Daz, the doberman, getting into the candy canes, and do you see the partially eaten cookie? Just when Santa is leaving too. But Daz doesn’t care. The presents are already under the tree.

Back to the book! It’s going to rain all day and we have flood warnings in effect. A good day to stay home and just….write. Have a great day!!!

Sometimes You Gotta Just Play

When the baby is here I often can’t get anything done with writing–too many interruptions and I can’t concentrate. With photoshop manipulations, I can add something while she is watching TV or playing and still keep an eye on her.

The cougars in both scenes are from Daz3D, the black wolf is also, the snowmen from pixelsquid, the white squirrel, white wolf, and white havanese from Renderosity, the little tractor by the cabin, etsy, the snow from Pretty Actions, the sun ray, not sure, and the backgrounds from KCC.

So that’s what I did. I just played.

Off to work. I have 4 days of pure writing work to get done, no baby distractions, so I need to hop to it!

Wolves for Christmas

I’ve picked up some of the ornaments at wolf reserves or they were gifts.

Spent the day rereading Claiming the  White Bear and added 1,000 words. Not as much as I wanted to, but when proofing, editing, and reading, since I have been working on three other stories and needed to resettle myself in their story, I never add as much as when I’m writing scenes.

Okay, baby is here and I have to run. She’s eating me out of house and home. lol

Done! Woodland Fae!

It’s raining leaves in the wind, but these are some trees in bloom that I managed to capture before they are bare.

I need to have a couple of beta readers read Woodland Fae, and it’s done! But the story is written and I proofed it all the way through.

In the meantime, I’ve got to get back to Claiming the White Bear. And no, I don’t write a book in a week. lol But I’ve started these quite a while back, not sure on Woodland Fae, but on Claiming the White Bear, before Christmas of last year.

Have a great day!!! I have baby again tomorrow and so today, I’ve got to get hopping. Oh, library day was fun. She was soooo good. Next week is their last program until some time after the new year, but Barnes and Noble has a children’s program, so I’ll take her to those. Off to work!

The Witch and the Jaguar Video Book Trailer

My computer has been hanging up all morning and I’m trying to entertain a sleepy baby. But I did finish Woodland Fae yesterday. I think. I’m proofreading and over halfway done!!! Next up: Claiming the White Bear.

I changed days so that I have baby when I can take her to library toddler time (first time for me to go to our library here–her too), and to Barnes and Noble toddler time on a different day.  This is all exciting firsts. I have no idea how it will work. She’s very good about sitting still for story time with me and watching videos for a whole movie, but with other kids who are wiggling around, not sure. Plus, I’ll have to find my way to the library. GPS and me are at odds sometimes.

But I’m this will be something fun that she enjoys to do a couple of days a week, as long as the weather is good.

And the print version of The Witch and the Jaguar is now available!

A full moon on Halloween means magic and mayhem are sure to follow.

Erin Hawkins is a JAG agent with the jaguar shifters police force and she’s all set to attend the shifters’ Halloween party as a sexy witch, the first time she’s not been on a mission in three years. Still, he’s determined to show her a good time and give him a chance and to straighten out a matter about him and her brother’s former girlfriend.

From home invasions to bank robberies, have they got what it takes to watch each other’s backs, eliminate the bad guys, and have fun too? They will, if it doesn’t kill them first!
