Flowers and Monarch Caterpillars!

Beautiful perennials blooming again!

It’s been in the 40’s and then in the mid 70’s during the day–very nice. The monarch butterflies had been laying eggs all over the milkweed, much of which is blooming still, and now the little caterpillars are eating and making cocoons. I love seeing them, but I always worry about them coming so late in the year because a freeze could kill them.

Okay, little one is here and I’m working on Joy to the Wolves edits if I can. We’re also going for a long walk today since it’s supposed to be warm.

Have a beautiful day!!
