Snow Leopard

I have 3 snow leopards in my polar bear series, 3 brothers that I want to write about. This is a photo I took in Omaha, and the snow leopard is Photoshop painted, then added Daily Texture winter overlays.

I managed to get my 2,000 word count yesterday for Cougar Christmas yesterday, despite feeling miserable. I had an awful sore throat for the last 3 days and all through the night. I knew every time I swallowed, it hurt so bad. Then I think I finally was so tired, I fell asleep. This morning, my throat feels much better. I’ve coughed for the last two days, headaches, sinus issues. I’m hoping by Thanksgiving Day I’ll be feeling better. I think it’s just a cold. Little one gave it to me from her daycare. At least I hope that’s all it is.

I’ve been editing through the story, making changes to fit other changes I made later on, but have some ideas I need to start writing in the story. Still need to do the proofing on The Wolf Wore Plaid.

Have a great day! I’m off to get mine started!

  1. Hope you feel better soon! Thanksgiving dinner is not a time to be sick. The other wolves will not save you any food.

  2. My mom’s recipe if coming down with a cold or flu. In a tea cup with hot water, add lemon juice, and honey. Drink it as hot as you can stand it. Do this when you just realize you are coming down with something. Also, do it just before you go to bed. If you catch your cold or flu right at the beginning, this usually nocks it our of you. Since I have had allergies an asthma all my life, colds and flus were worse for me. This usually did the trick.
