It feels like 32 this morning. I’m teaching my granddaughter to read. She doesn’t want to learn, but I keep telling her that if she wants to learn how to do fun projects–she needs to learn to read so she can read the directions. We’re making You*Niverse jewelry today also and she’s painting some drink coasters. But she’s also been doing a bunch of workbook pages–she just opens up her books and starts to work on them! So that’s been fun.
I am up to 23K on the book and approved the Dawn of the Jaguar narration. On the book, I changed my idea of where I want to go with it, so I spent most of the day revising it to go with the new idea, but I still managed to get word count.
I’m off to ship books and work on the story. I might have reached 20K last night. I have to type my notes. I did finish proofing Dawn of the Jaguar audio book. Yay! Today’s goal is 22K and it’s going to be warm today and tomorrow. Chilly this morning. So looking forward to the two nice days before the Ice Age hits on Thursday and Friday! That’s why I’m getting some other stuff done today while it’s going to be nice.
Little one is here today. I didn’t manage 20K this weekend, but I did make it to 19K. And today is a non-writing day–I always allow myself a day off in case I can’t write when little one is here–so I hope to get a 1,000 done to reach 20K. Then I am a 1/4th of the way done! I’m also through the first 3 chapters of Dawn of the Jaguar audio book. So I hope I can proof at least 5 more today and finish it up tomorrow.
It’s very cold today, but if it warms up enough, we might tie dye a shirt. But I want to do it outside.
I took the picture of the sheep at the zoo in Hawaii. She must have been recently shorn. At first I thought she was a goat, but I believe she’s a sheep.
I’ve been goofing off this morning. Last night, I had a great brainstorming session with a friend who used to do this with me but work got in the way. Now she’s retired and it’s so much fun doing it with her again!
I’m off to write up some of the things we came up with on A Wolf’s Second Chance.
Playing around with more Centaur art. Notice the snow leopard stalking in the grass. I wonder what he sees?
It’s cold, high winds, and we had alert message from our electric company about possible outages. So I’ve got to get busy on my writing in case the electric goes out.
Fun with unicorns! Created the unicorn with Daz 3D, Lynne Anzelc’s designs for the water pond and castle, pixelsquid koi, brushes for grass, stars, dust and more hair on the unicorn.
My granddaughter is sick this morning, so I’m off to work on the story! Though I had a couple of ideas on Emerald Isle of Mist that I need to type up also.
