Prince of the Sea

If you caught the prince, would you keep him, or toss him back?

Felt bad after they gave me some medicine following dinner and promptly lost my dinner. But I managed to sleep. The spinal tap was painless, no cancer cells found at all, yay! And I walked 10 times around the ward this morning like I did yesterday. They wanted me to walk 3. I walk fast, so I try to do it before shift change and patients are being moved about.

If I caught the Prince of the Sea, I would write down his story, you know, for another book, if he was agreeable, and then he would rejoin his people as it should be.

What would you do?

  1. Hi Terry
I know that feeling. I was bleeding a lot and passed a blood clot the size of a baseball. Then the gave me a beef dinner to eat.
I threw up and to this day I can hardly stand to eat beef.
I had my hysterectomy the next day.
I am sure glad you have no cancer. Still praying for you.
I think of you a lot.
    Loved your prince thought.
It has finally quit snowing last night. Sun is trying to come out. The forecast for a week, but it only snowed two days. Man but we got a lot of snow.
Hubby sure had trouble walking in it yesterday. He walks pretty near every day.
I hope you have a great day today.
    Love Sheila Claire

    • Oh, wow, Sheila Claire, that’s awful. Thanks for thinking of me. The next phase is doing this at home, and then a transplant in a few months and that’s where it gets really bad. Sooooo I’m looking forward to being home, visiting with family and trying not to think of what’s to come. 🙂
Isn’t he the cutest, with a touch of arrogance?
I’m glad it finally quit snowing and hope the sun melts it off. Good for your hubby walking, though I know in snow it’s hard to do.
It’s usually quieter on the weekends so just working on stories and finishing one last felt cat for my granddaughter. 🙂
Hope your day turns out sunny and bright!!!
