And somebody won’t let you, you keep trying anyway. Took the original photo at the Dallas Zoo. Juvenile sister was pushing baby around because he kept wanting to go the other way.
Keep on trucking!

At the Dallas Zoo. They are so playful. He was playing with his siblings then came out all wet to rest on the bank.
I managed another 3,000 words on The Chosen One. I was going to work on Bear in Pursuit, but got the rest of my beta edits for Cougar Christmas Catastrophe, so worked on those instead.
Then I printed out the manuscript and began proofing it. Well, editing it some more. After I finish making all the edits, I’ll reread it again to proof it, to make sure I caught everything and didn’t make any new mistakes. 🙂 So that’s my today goal. I probably won’t get any word count on the other stories. Need to finish this up before it’s already next Christmas.
Enjoy your day! I know it’s a Monday, well, at least for me, and that means seeing the doctor and getting more blood work soon, but….I’m not going to think about it. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

Took the photo of the African elephant at the Dallas Zoo as she stood in water and added a different background.
I’m off to write in a few minutes. I managed 3,000 words on The Chosen Fae. We had wild thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and in the middle of the night. We really needed the rain, but the dogs were terrified.
Have a fun day!!!

I felt so bad yesterday–I think from the RSV shot, I didn’t get any writing or anything else done. I feel better today and got some groceries. Plus, I’ve already written 2,000 words on The Chosen Fae. Next, I need to work on Bear in Pursuit.
Hope your day is going fine.

I took the photo of the bird in San Diego. Not sure what kind it is. But it’s pretty.
My blood counts looked good despite being on chemo for 9 days. I took the RSV shot because of my low immune system. I’ve been feeling nauseous, but not sure if it’s from the chemo or the shot. They took me off a couple of pills, yay! And reduced the amount I have on another. That’s 17 fewer pills a week. Woohoo!
I’m still taking a lot, but I’m glad I’m not having to take as many. If I get sick again, I’ll have to take them again.
Hope your day is pill-less!

The green rose was on a white miniature rosebush. Imagine my surprise!
All the roses are blooming with our warm weather, so I went out to take a photo, and voila! A green rose. Sometimes, on white crepe myrtles, a pink flower will emerge, but I’ve never seen that happen on a rosebush.
I didn’t get as much done on Bear in Pursuit yesterday. Only 500 words. But I managed 3500 on The Chosen Fae, so still 4,000 words total for the day.
Today is a doctor’s day. *sigh* I’ve been on chemo for 9 days, so we’ll see how the bloodwork goes. I was feeling really nauseated last night, but so far not so bad for the rest of the week. But if my blood counts drop too much, that’s the problem.
Okay, I’m off to get a little work done before I have to leave.
Hope you find a miracle in a garden too!

Do you use it, if you do? I remember the days when I had to iron my uniforms for work. Now, everything is just about wrinkle free, yay! But I do have an iron and a small ironing board, just in case I need it.
Well, yesterday I was so inspired on writing on The Chosen Fae. I ended up with 4,000 words, now at 13K, and 2,000 words on Bear in Pursuit, making it 9K. Woohoo!!
I’m off to write. I doubt I’ll write that much today, but while I’m waiting for my 2nd drs appt tomorrow, I’m sure I’ll get some writing done also.
It’s really warm again. I’ll enjoy it for the next few days and then this weekend, I think the temperatures are dropping.
So, do you still iron? Or do you have a wrinkle-free life? Or alternately, do you not worry about the wrinkles?

I’m on my 8th day of chemo. So far, I feel alright, but need my blood counts to know for sure.
I managed 2,000 words for Bear in Pursuit and 2,000 words on The Chosen Fae yesterday, and am nearly at 2,000 words on The Chosen Fae today. Then I’ll switch over to Bear in Pursuit. I like working on a couple of stories at a time while I’m coming up with scenes. But once I really get into one book, I’ll write it through to the end and then switch over to the other. I have 7,000 words on Bear in Pursuit and 11,000 on The Chose Fae.
Okay, I need to get back to work. Hope you are staying warm today!

If Little Bear wants a hug, it’s okay to wake Grandma Fae, isn’t it?
So I have been working on Bear in Pursuit, and I’ve also been looking at other books I’ve started — some YA —and I love all of them! I also found the wolf short story. I’m thinking that while I’m working on Bear, if I get stuck, I can slip over to one of the other stories and work on them for a while. In fact, I did that yesterday when a thought came to mind about one of the elf stories.
I had started the Blue Elf story, but came across another fantasy–this one called the Elf Lord. I might combine them. Or not. I have a cover for the Blue Elf in any event. Somewhere, I also have the Chosen Fae started and the cover, and I was working on it in the hospital. Not sure how far along it is. I need to find it and reread it. So many books, so much fun.
Well, I had 3,000 words on Bear in Pursuit, maybe 4,000 by the time I type up my handwritten notes.
Hope you’re meeting your goals today.
