This curious roadrunner was at the Fort Worth Zoo. I love how they’ll come up to you. I had a wild one at my home in Crawford, that would peek in the windows at me while I was typing away at a story. It made the most mournful calls, searching for a forever mate.

My blood tests were much better. If the mutation hadn’t come back, the doctor would have kept me off chemo. ugh. So I’m starting that back up on Monday. Feel great now. Doubt I will when I start the chemo.
