Bluebird Bug Eater

Bluebird ready to fly. A whole bunch of bluebirds, this one included, flew toward my living room window when I was writing a book. They were going under the eave, targeting yellow jackets building a nest. Instant bug control.

Now, if only they would work on the yellow jackets around here!

We had wild storms last night. Two inches of rain! We really needed it!

I planted some seeds while it was raining. It’s a great time to plant!

Hope your day is going great! I think the chemo is getting to me this morning. Feeling queasy. 🙁 It’s been a week on the chemo.

  1. Hi Terry
Sorry to hear you are now feeling sick.
    Being nauseous is not fun.
Love the bluebird. They are quite rare here where I live.
I think I have only seen one since got married and moved to Alberta. Used to see the odd one where I lived before in British Columbia.
I say they are quite rare period in northern Alberta.
Time change tonight. Ugg. I just get used to it and then it changes again. It takes me weeks to get settled again.
We still have so much snow on the ground.
We need a chinook; those are very rare where I live. I loved getting them in British Columbia. They would blow through and the snow would disappear quite fast.
They do get them in southern Alberta, especially in the foothills.
    Love Sheila Claire

    • Oh, that’s cool on the chinooks! Yeah, we’re dealing with the time change now. I didn’t know you did it up there too. I love bluebirds too.
