All the crepe myrtles in my backyard are volunteers except for the Purple Magic. So these were all planted by birds.

Usually, I like colorful flowers, but I love this white one too. It’s very showy.

I’m up to 51,000 on Deadly Misfortunes. I’m excited about getting closer to the end. I started back to the beginning and was adding a few things that were important throughout, so it takes longer to write, than if I was just writing straight scenes.

We got an inch of rain, woohoo! We so needed it. Most days, we get notifications about approaching thunderstorms, and nothing happens, so I was glad we finally had rain. Same thing with today. 2-6 pm, thunderstorms predicted. Will they happen? Only time will tell.
