I have only one red crepe myrtle and it always blossoms late. My daughter has a different red crepe myrtle variety and hers is the same thing.

We are in a 30 degree Celsius heat wave up here in Alberta.
All our fans are running, one is 24 hours.
My pink mallow perked up after that rain we had.
My Monkshood is blooming.
I expect we will have a thunderstorm this evening.

Ugh on your heat wave! I know it’s even worse for you because you don’t have air conditioning. We would be melting if we didn’t have it down here.

Thanks on the swimming. I see people running in this heat and just keep on thinking of heat stroke. Swimming is the only way to go. 🙂
